Carlos has over 20 years of experience as an attorney, litigating in both the Federal and State Courts of New York. For his entire career, Carlos has been drafting, negotiating, and litigating contracts of all types on behalf of his wide ranging clients.
Carlos began his career as an associate successfully representing clients such as the Colombian Consulate and Academy Bus, and sat second seat during a trial against the New York Yankees which resulted in a favorable verdict of $1.2 million. From there, Carlos began work defending cases on behalf of The Hartford Insurance Company, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, the Medical Malpractice Insurance Association, as well as Novartis/Ciba-Geigy.
After having gained such invaluable litigation experience in the early part of his career, Carlos found his niche when he moved his office to the fashionable Noho neighborhood of Manhattan. There, he began to make a name for himself in the ultra-competitive nightlife and modeling industries of the City. Carlos represented notable models, agents and agencies, as well as owners and operators of some of the most exclusive establishments in the City. He soon came to be recognized as one of the most knowledgeable attorneys in the City’s nightlife and modeling industries.
Since then, Carlos has started his own general litigation practice where he represents clients from all over the world as plaintiffs and/or defendants in all types of litigation when the need arises.
Carlos maintains his office in Midtown Manhattan. He received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, and his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.
